Preventative Care

The team at Campaspe Dental Care is passionate about their patients having regular dental exams and professional cleaning. Patients who regularly come into the Campaspe Dental Care practice are actively reducing their risk of gum disease and decay. X-Rays may be taken (with our low dose, digital technology), to see in tight areas, such as between teeth and under restorations.

The Campaspe Dental Care team will talk with you about preventive measures to help keep your teeth and gums healthy and strong. Regular check ups allow us to pick disease up in its early stages, meaning it can be corrected as early and as simply as possible. We maintain the health of the teeth and gums as well as all the supporting structures that play a role in dental health.

Tooth Whitening

After an initial assessment by our team of dental professionals, we can provide an in-chair whitening procedure that offers rapid results, or a take home, gradual treatment using custom made trays.

Crown & Bridge Dentistry

The Campaspe Dental Care team pride themselves on the aesthetics, strength and longevity of all of our cosmetic dentistry options and procedures.

  • Crowns

    Crowns sit on the original tooth like a cap to protect it from cracking or fracturing. They are especially useful for a tooth that has lost a large proportion of structure or after root canal treatment when the tooth may become more brittle.

  • Veneers

    Veneers are bonded to the facial side of the tooth to cover the underlying tooth and enhance tooth colour, shape, and a persons’ overall smile.

  • Bridges

    Bridges can be used as a fixed option to replace missing teeth. By using the teeth either side of the gap to support a porcelain tooth in the middle to act as the missing tooth.

Restorations

Fillings

We use a conservative approach to teeth restorations to ensure you are able to keep your teeth for life. We offer a range of restorative materials, such as tooth coloured (composite resin, porcelain) or metal (amalgam, gold). 

Root Canal Treatment

This delicate procedure involves removing an infected or diseased nerve and placing a filling in the empty space. This prevents further infection and helps to keep the tooth.

Dentures

Removable restorations (dentures) are used to replace one or many teeth. There are different types and options to ensure the denture is made to fit comfortably and reach your expectations in appearance.

Implants

Implants feel the most natural in comparison to other procedures and means of replacing a missing tooth or missing teeth. Dentists with additional training, such as Dr Tony Lee, should only perform this specialised technology. This procedure involves placing a titanium post in the jawbone that acts as the root, with a crown, bridge or denture positioned on top.

Additional Services

Extractions & Wisdom Teeth Removal

The Campaspe Dental Care team aim to save all natural teeth, however occasionally extensive damage can occur, leading to the need to remove teeth. If necessary, we can perform most extractions in our rooms, taking every step to ensure your comfort throughout. 

Snoring, Grinding & Clenching Therapy

Snoring occurs when muscles become relaxed and block the airways. An anti-snoring appliance holds the jaw forward and prevents obstruction, thus restoring quiet breathing. This is a common treatment option for people with sleep apnoea.

It is becoming more and more common for people to be diagnosed with grinding/clenching symptoms, these include chipping, wear or sore teeth, sore jaw, headaches, and “tight” feeling in the muscles or neck. Grinding/clenching can be very destructive to not only your teeth but also the supportive structures and your jaw. Occlusal splint therapy or night guards are a precise acrylic appliance that protects the teeth and jaw joint from damage.

Fissure Sealants

Fissure sealants are a simple, cost effective and preventive procedure where the deep grooves and pits in permanent molars are sealed with a thin, white resin material to prevent food and bacteria becoming trapped and causing decay.

Sports Mouth Guards

Our custom-made mouth guards are comfortable and close fitting. They provide strong support to minimise tooth, gum & soft tissue trauma. We have many different colours to choose from.
